There are two in Lake tahoe. Both look like timeshares with great reviews. I'm not a timeshare owner but anyone have any recent experience that will push the decision toward one resort or another?

The two properties are "side-by-side" (literally). The Timber Lodge is a traditional "weekly timeshare" and the Grand Residence is "Quarter Ownership". The two properties look very much alike, but the Grand Residence are "used" a little less.
Regardless, they're both fantastic properties, and in great shape. Location is great, and the staff is wonderful.

PPS: If you're there for more than a week, I'd lean towards the Grand Residence. A week or less, go with Timber Lodge...
