I called and the lady said everything is blocked and I have to go to the airport within an hour of the flight and then I may be able to be assigned a different seat. Any other airline allows you to get access to preferred seats when you have status, even with a partner airline. I'm done flying AS.
Once again...
The only way for an AA elite to book priority seats on an AS flight is to book the code-share on aa.com. You will be assigned a random priority seat according to your profile seating preference. Then you'll need to call the PLT or EXP desk and ask them to assign a row 6, 13 or 14 aisle seat. Works all the time.
