A six continent trip may mean your longest flight is TATL or Trans Pacific. Since a lot of companies now have the 8hr+ policy it may not be that 'pathetic'.

Would not want to change seats (literaly) with you on this one however.

I don't believe there are many arguments in favor of C. If anything, availability is more limited in C than in Y.
