Ok, I'm prepared to get shot down for this, but I actually (generally speaking) like the boarding music played on bmi. It generally puts me in a good relaxing mood. I feel the same when flying VS, although their playlist is probably a little better than BD. Can't say I generally notice it looping during boarding, but you do sometimes get the same tunes on arrival.

It can sometimes be quite appropriate as well, 2 memorable examples, playing Razorlight's "America" whilst blasting down the runway at MAN to ORD, or Dido's White Flag "I will go down with this ship" whilst making a steep decent into LAS

Maybe its just that the playlist matches my own tastes
