US Airways does not offer Economy Plus, but the exit row is pretty comfortable. Since United stopped offering E+ for partner elites, US and other airlines stopped giving Exit Row to United Elite members, but you could always try at the airport.

Coach trans-con service is buy on board, while in First it's always a full meal.

I invite you to try US Airways. I've been flying them for quite a few years and find the service and friendliness of the FA's superior to United and there is no way I would change carriers, even though United is my home town airline.
