No negative impact on credit rating, so why not?</font>
Just FYI, too much available credit can be a negative. Not a real big deal, and easily rememdied, but I did run into a small problem once with that. Had to just close a few dormant accounts.

Savings Bond talk. Any quick tips there?

The skinny: Buy bonds with a credit card. The transaction is treated as a purchase, as opposed to a cash advance, so you earn points. There is an annual purchase limit (don't remember, but you'll find it), so many people purchase during double points or miles promos.
Much, much more on this in MilesBuzz. The latest news was the exenstion of the bond
holding period from 6 months to 1 year (in large part due to some people "churning" bonds every 6 months for maximum miles/points).
You can start at that thread, but if you need more info just search "savings bonds" in MilesBuzz. Many threads, and most of your questions will already have been answered there.
