Don't know if this will happen to you or not but here's what happened to me. When I applied I filled in the space where it asked for my Hilton HHonors number. Two months went by and I never saw a point post. No bonus points for signing up -- no purchase points. The first time I called customer service they told me I had to wait til after 2 billing cycles before I should expect anything. They second time, I was more persistent, and the CS guy finally figured out that they had assigned me a NEW HHonors number and that was where my points had been posting. So he merged the account and solved the problem. So keep this in mind if too much time passes (I would say if more than a month)
