Yea he had an office. He said he just moved into the location and thats why it wasnt furnished appropriately. I can't believe that I believed him.. he just talked me into it. I heard about them through craigslist. I have his email address, and his car number plate number. I called Emirates and no funds are expected at check-in but am sure they will need to see the credit card that made the purchase. He said the booking was confirmed and they may or may not ask to see my credit card. Even if they don't ask to see my credit card, I wouldnt want to travel by fraudulent means.

I think airlines should have a better mechanism to check if the credit card is valid and not on the day of the travel. They could have let me know a day or two after the itinary was made available online.

Having reported this case to the airline, out of courtesy atleast do you think they can try an accomodate me at the least offer me a subsidised ticket?
