This isn't actually correct. All Hotline booking conditions mirror normal commercial bookings meaning you can purchase a full fare F class ticket with Hotline, a deeply discounted Club ticket to NYC which can't be changed or a cheap ticket to Paris which is changeable for a fee.
The only difference with Hotline is that they must be changed on ba.com, if that doesn't work thenchanges must be made through a message service on the BA Intranet. As the employee has now left BA and so doesn't have access to the intranet I'm at a loss as to how this would be changed. I've seen that Dilly has got involved so hopefully there'll be a positive outcome.
