Just got back from a RTW trip, which I stayed at many Hilton establishments.....by far the best was the Hilton Beijing.
The hotel was not the greatest but clean and good location, however the staff were outstanding, for me this is so important, especially when traveling alone on a business trip....sometimes its nice to have a chat with someone not connected to your business....

There was was incident that stood out, and to which I wrote to the manger about...I was out shopping the markets of Beijing, when I decided to buy a little souvenir...well my mandarin normally consist of hand signals, on this occasion I was getting in a bit of trouble with the shop keeper, he was getting louder and louder as I had no idea what was being said...then out of the blue came a young lady, she asked the shop keeper to explain, she then explained to me and eventually with her help we all were satisfied...

As we left, I turned to the young lady to thank he, I was stunned as she reply not at all MR. S******** it was my pleasure.!.

I asked how she knew my name, she replied that she worked at the Hilton Executive floor and had noted me when I came in for Breakfast...

Where else would you get help like that, where else would they remember who you are...it was so good to be helped and remember.
