I do. It usually works, but I've also totally killed the seat twice. While that does get you 25K in we're sorry miles, it also makes the service quite irritating.

Also, if you look at Seat Guru you'll notice that power in Y is extremely rare on the 744 with only a couple airlines even doing it. A330 is the way to fly.
