The miles are at hand, just don't want to pay the extra € just to have an option to fall back on! Will keep my existing booking and probably just book the other routing when availability opens up and cancel the other.

My flight times have changed numerous times for the YVR-LAX flight - now we have a 5-hour layover which I am not too happy about, especially with the flight cancellation at MUC - delaying us another 4 hours.

May be I should tell them that I don't want the change and hope that they will rebook me!
