I'm thrilled with the observations and find them most informative. The key information seems to be:
Tokyo restaurants are usually quite small with establishments that seat 30-40 people being about average sized.
There are Japanese style napkins and Western style napkins according to how plush the restaurants are. (It seems that the napkins one gets at a typical McDonalds restaurant are actually 'Japanese' style, as are those available at any Spanish bar/ice cream parlour or English Greasy Spoon restaurant)
Japanese people will often make the traditional peace sign when being photographed.
The skirts worn by waitresses at an Anne Miller restaurant in the ultra-posh Hiroo district are noticeably more conservative than those depicted in the Megatokyo (Comic/Manga) version of the same restaurant chain. It is also the blogger's expert opinion that the female staff have no need to pad their bras. (If he also thought either would '
make a good wife' this was not disclosed)
Delivery scooters make it safer to transport pies and other goods than conventional motor cycles fitted with a box. They can be seen all over Tokyo.
Pink, as far as the author can tell, is the favorite color of the Japanese. He saw it everywhere.
