Maybe this answer is obvious, but I'm afraid it's a bit convoluted, so my brain is a bit scrambled....

I am planning a trip to the US from Cork on BA.

I was hoping to pay for WT+ and MFU to Club. The question relates to a BA codeshare on EI from ORK-LHR:-

If I make my booking through the call centre, and can get a through-fare ORK-LHR-NYC RTN, will they be able to MFU the BA flights, when there is a codeshare in the booking?

And also, if I'm successful in getting the MFU on BA, would I earn TPs for the connecting codeshare flights (they will be economy TPs obviously)?

I'm particularly interested, as my membership year is coming to a close, and the codeshare TPs would help me retain Silver for next year.
