If you're Dividend Preferred, even if only Silver, and you have an understandable reason why you had to skip the first segment, call your preferred reservation line and give them the sob story (sudden business that forced you to drive from Richmond to Baltimore or whatever, and made it impossible to get back to RIC in time for your flight) and ask them to see if there's any way they could honor the second segment of the reservation. Try the regular rez line if you're not DP. Sometimes they'll give you a pass on the strict interpretation of the rules if you're nice.

But I wouldn't try just showing up with the boarding pass and trying to BS your way onto the flight if I were you.
