Thanks for the ideas. I fall squarely in the procrastination camp. About 42,000 miles expire at the end of the month. Thought about getting the credit card or making a purchase, but the miles would take too long to post.

Would the miles be extended just for signing up for United Dining? Would it work in this time frame?

If I have to, I'll burn a couple thousand miles to get the WSJ, which should do the trick. But, I'd rather not if there is another way.
