One solution to that would be to put the smokers cabins all in one row on one side.

As I said, I figure the wind on the open sea should blow the smoke away so quickly, you'll hardly smell anything. Besides, it's still kind of a public space where other people are around. So any kind of unpleasant smell just has to be dealt with. When I walk through the city or sit on the bus and some person close to me reeks of alcohol or urine or something equally unpleasant I will just have to stand it, too. If I walk along the street and a big truck starts his Diesel engine up next to me, I get the blast. In cities like LA or Mexico it is almost impossible to escape the smog.

But I see your point. You are on the open sea and want to enjoy the nice air and then some bozo lights up his stogie right next to you, basically for the same reason, because the nice air makes his cigar taste better.

Oldpenny, thanks for the Crystal tip. I won't sail with them then.
