First, welcome to FT. Second, it sounds like you were mistreated. Was your first letter snail mail or email? AA's response sounds like one that it would send by email.

Here's my suggestion, although it's going to take a little work. Send a real letter to the CEO's office, certified. Explain what happened and the responses you have received. If you have any receipts, send copies of those. Chances are, you'll get a real response.

A real letter to the CEO's office is in fact an excellent idea. Might not help in this case, but I've done it half a dozen times and am batting .667.
