I would also add that the uniforms should be jumpsuits with no pockets and no personal belonging (ie backpacks) allowed.
Might be nice if they were color coded to the alert level. Spandex, with no fasteners- even better- might even be an ugly reminder to everyone about the sacrifices we all make for safety's sake.
