I think that some of you are kidding yourselves.

BA goes bust/adminstration/takeover - I would almost guarantee that all BA miles will be worthless. You can talk about goodwill all that you like but if you look at most previous collapsed airlines the miles are just totally lost. The new mamagement will be interested in getting revenue in - not taking on a load of debt that it is under no obligation to honour.
