Hyatt Place Dallas / Las Colinas REVIEW - MASTER THREAD
On Walnut Ridge just off Hwy 114 just east of Hwy (Toll Road) 161 in Las Colinas. (Las Colinas is an upscale office park area in Irving-Northwest Dallas, just east of DFW airport. It tries to be really hoity-toity and almost succeeds).
Standard 6-story last-round of Amerisuites builds (I'd guess) with non-standard light brick. Better than average workout room (that I'm getting too old for). Maybe just bigger than average outdoor HP pool, which is why I booked it on a 105 degree Saturday in July. Standard HP cookie-cutter, but that makes it predictable in the good sense, and its not worn out.
Close enough to major highways it would work if passing through if you avoid rush hour. Has one of the world's few remaining Bennigan's in the parking lot, which works for me since I hate moving the car just to eat.
Hey its just an HP, but you could do way worse.
