I haven't actually booked it, but I saw it on the website yesterday for 21,000 points under a point stretcher award. After all this discussion, there is some chance that we might be bagging this trip altogether if Mr. travelmad478 gets a rush cabinetry order that just came up--but if that doesn't pan out, I'll try to book it. I am mindful of rewindrw's experience, so if that happens to me, I'll let you know.

[EDITED 11 AM on 7/16 to add:] Now I am not getting the point stretcher option either--just a 35,000 mile regular award. In this case the whole thing is a moot point--I don't feel like using HH points for this stay if it's that much, but instead will use SPG points for a Four Points downtown.

I did walk by the hotel this morning. Amusingly, it is side by side with a Holiday Inn Express and a Candlewood Suites, all of which appear to be very new. The area is very loud, as I knew already, so I'm probably going to feel better staying somewhere else. It is very convenient to the subway, though.
