Does anyone else find this strange? It is not as if that room would (could) go unoccupied, we've all been given those rooms when they are the last available in the hotel.

Seriously, I don't intend to turn this into a political commentary, nor do I mean this to disrespect any disabled persons.

my experience w/ Hilton (and others, Hyatt in particular) is that the hotel seems to indicate these are undesireable rooms unless you need them Whenver I've booked on the phone I'm always asked if it's Ok that its a handicapped accessible room and the agent's gone through and explained the downsides of the room....one agent even apologized. So maybe they have gotten enough complaints when someone goes to the room???
