Last year soon after I joined Asiana Club and already had enough miles to be *S, I flew SQ and *S didn't appear on my BP. I asked specifically about it and was told by the SQ check-in staff that *S will not appear for OZ members but *G will. I thought it a bit strange at the time but I was *G by the time I flew next and didn't care about my *S status being I already had two other *G cards.
