I've heard a couple of very suspect claims as to why people should be allowed into the lounge. One was a bloke who had obviously been Silver, still had his card, so the dragon asks to see the card and he hands over the BP instead. This says that he is Silver but as he didn't hand over his card as asked the number is typed into the computer, and she asks to see his card again.

She then said that he is no longer Silver, he claimed that he was just waiting for the new card to arrive, and that this must be a mistake and he is certain that he is suffering thanks to a computer glitch. So the dragon says she will call someone important and check it out as if it is a computer glitch she wants to get to the bottom of it and get this guy his correct status. Whereupon the bloke suddenly gets a phonecall (it must have been on silent) and says thanks but I have to go and meet a friend and collects his BP and goes, the dragon refusing to let him have the old card back saying that it is property of BA.

Whoops!
