I don't see how people who forge cards/attempt entry on expired cards think they can get away with it.

The expiry date is clearly printed on the card, and for those trying to forge them then it's pretty clear they can't get around the magnetic strip on the card. To top all that, status and membership number is printed on the boarding pass and forging that will just create disparities between the paper and the computer which the computer will pick up on.

Why don't all those so desperate for lounge access just buy a premium ticket and/or work their way up the status ladder like the rest of us? They're clearly going to get nowhere trying to get access otherwise.
