I can't agree that it's much worse than the upgrade issue. But as we discussed back then, EB points do have a monetary value and the points we earn reflects in the price we paid for the orignal ticket.

To increase the number of points required for an upgrade, increase the point price for domestic travel, add requirements for extra payment (like fuel surcharge) just isn't right.

But then again, we're talking about something like 3 euros and to say that's more important than a more than doubling of the price of upgrades.... that's a heavy statement
