Using S'Miles for AF tickets ?

The S'Miles programme (for SNCF French railways frequent riders) makes it possible in theory to buy AF tickets. The offer mentions that AF tickets can be obtained "starting from" 5500 S'Miles and 195€, + taxes (and we know that includes fuel surcharges of course). There is a page long small print of vague wording about "depending on availability", "additional charges may apply" etc.

I am interested to get a CDG-SCL coach return ticket if ever that makes sense using that scheme. I value my S'Miles at ~0.03€ each so if the rate is indeed 5500 S'Miles on that route it makes sense only if in the end the saving is larger than 165€ (and substantially more if it is complicated to obtain the ticket).

Has any one used S'Miles to get an AF ticket? Does it make sense? Is it practical? What is the booking class for long haul? Does the ticket allow the accumulation of (status) FB miles?
