I agree that most hotels in my experience have problems, but I'll commend the Standford Court Renaissance Hotel in SF. My wife and I spent two extended (3 day) weekends there recently and in both cases the front desk handled our payment (EEO, bonus buck, comp. internet, and comp. breakfast) 100% accurately and efficiently. I made a point of thanking the manager on duty, telling her how nice it was not to have to spend time at checkout figuring out finances.
