How much are tickets for children (eg over 2yrs old) and how much availability is "limited availability"?
Book the 241 and the infant/child over the phone. They should waive the offline fee because
(i) you can't book an award flight and a revenue flight at the same time AND
(ii) you can't purchase a child or infant ticket without also purchasing an adult ticket at the same time. (ie: in your situation, you couldn't purchase both online as two separate entities and then ask them to merge the two PNR's).

Infants: 10% of the adult fare + some taxes (importantly, not the fuel surcharge) In practice, I found this to mean that if the adult books an I class ticket or an award where there are I class seats available, BA will charge 10% of the I class fare. If not, it is 10% of the R, C or J as appropriate.

Children: International: 66% of the adult fare / Europe 100% of the adult fare + the full amount of tax.

Re: 'limited availability' for children, they take up a seat so the availability is as for an adult.
