A is a FC "Saver" Award and W is a coach "Saver" Award. IOW any revenue fare class on AS earns SkyMiles on DL.

Beckoa is correct. The first letter of the Fare Basis Code almost always corresponds to the fare class it books into. Exceptions are "UP" fares, but let's not open that can of worms here, Besides, I haven't seen "UP" fares on AS in several years.
