Stayed 12/31/02 on an award booked the same morning. No upgrade for this Gold as the hotel was full. A helpful courteous staff, a pleasant lounge (tried raw asparagus for the first time), comfortable beds, an above average shower and very quiet rooms did impress. The Short Hills Hilton is very good indeed for a suburban hotel. As good as it is though; I think AAA went a bit overboard giving it 5 diamonds.
