Every 2-3 months? Certainly I have been critical of TED but to suggest I start a thread every 8 to 12 weeks about him is stretching things.

This was just an observation that the death of TED has been greatly exaggerated.

I agree that it probably makes no sense for UA to refit the aircraft any faster than it is scheduled to refit them.

Maybe, but some of the reports I read when TED's phase-out was announced stated TED lost millions of dollars; just think about the marketing alone; separate website, Ted's list, lemonade, etc.

On costs, doesn't a TED aircraft need an additional FA?

I am not trying to start kicking Ted's corpse. Sorry if it came across that way.

edited to add: I am no UA basher. If I am in economy I think E+ is reason enough to pick UA. I also pick UA for 80% of my international travel because of the upgrade policies.
