sure, TED did cost UA lots of money, and will continue to cost until the refitting.

But for right now, at this moment, losing out on the ex-LAS first class market apparently does not cost more than refitting planes with F class, or bringing in equipment from other routes. Despite the overall failure that TED was, there was a reason UA thought it should serve such destinations with Y-only planes. And that same reason is why they are not runing to refit the planes.

It lost your business, but in the medium term, there are not enough people like you to make UA switch equipment from other places. They must figure they would lose more F business if they pulled a normal plane from another route.

You took your business elsewhere, but *right now*, what else is UA to do?
