Hi, all. Thanks for the replies. I eventually bought up to A class on AC for 1x miles. It was a little less than I thought (about £75 more) so I recon it was worth it. I had checked out LX but didn't know about the YYZ and ORD thing so I couldn't get it to give me a fare (also the times we're ruddy horrible!). Still looking forward to being on AC and not having to change in DC on UA! This way I'm giving my self a chance at retaining bmi Gold if it lasts that long or otherwise at least I have the destinations miles if we end up getting amalgamated into M+M before my membership year is out (hopefully along with a nice 2 year SEN!)
