Can one apply that logic with any two passports or are there any rules against it in some countries?
I hold a cdn passport (by birth) and a UK passport (by marriage) I always leave UK on cdn passport and enter Canada on cdn one, I leave Canada on cdn passport and enter uk on UK passport. Makes life easier, the only time it would be a problem if you enter say UK on uk passport should I get in trouble I cannot use cdn embassy.....as I did not enter uk on cdn passport, and carry duel nationality.
Canada advises you enter all countries on your cdn passport even if you carry more then one passport, then cdn embassy would then be able to help you out if you ran into trouble, if you enter on another passport you then have no right to ask for cdn embassy to bail you out of trouble or help you. I am guessing that the US would give same advisory, but you can confirm this next time you come through immigration.
Hope I didn't confuse anyone
