I think in the email it says "if the whole cabin is filled with op-ups", which I think it is reported sometime for KA that an 3 class 330 operating F as J, J as Y.. I think it makes total sense if the whole cabin is op up as everyone knows it. But it will be super odd and hard to operate if it is mixed in 1 cabin and embarrass the passenger
Same goes to CX charter, J seat Y service.... So it actually make sense in current downturn....
