I also tend to put my tray in the hallway and agree that if the hotel tells you to do that, then that is proper.

What I would suggest though is that if we disagree with a poster or their opinion, telling them to stop posting their opinions is not the right course of action. One of the reasons FT is what is it today is because of all the opinons expressed in the various forums.
