My son, a very infrequent flyer, is going from LAX-LHR-BHD tomorrow. Can anyone tell me the best way he can go from T3 to T1 to get the BMI flight to BHD. He'll be in FC from LAX-LHR and has about a 2hr connect time.
Much will depend on whether AA will check his bags through for him.
If they do he can go Airside..If not he will have to go Landside..both different transfer scenarios.
Through Checked Bag:
He can transfer Airside via FCC Center Just follow the signs and ensure his Immigration documents are completed. His bag will hopefully be transfered for him.
No Through Checked Bag:
He MUST ensure he has a Fastrack Voucher for T3 Immigration.
Clear Immigration via Fastrack Lanes again ensuring he completes document.
Collect Bag and go through Green Customs Channel
Rush with Bag on Trolly through Tunnels to T1
Re-Check Bag with BMI in T1
