I think that it depends on the particular LPR rate whether or not these are always usable to the general public. I just entered LPR for an upcoming stay in Philadelphia and the rate that came up was for a local conference and mentioned that it came with two VIP tickets but mentioned "membership card required". However, not all LPRs seem to have such stipulations.
Perhaps my post was unclear. I was not speaking of
ALL LPR's. I was speaking of
one LPR during a
particular month at
specific hotel - which did not have any restrictions.
IMO, one should check the rate rules on any code that is entered - there can be some suprisingly unexpected variances. I have even seen variances on our corpoate code with regards to cancellation policies and room rate "inclusions". The AAA rate can change depending on the number of nights booked....etc.
