Wheelchair in Paris-CDG to TGV Train Station?

A colleague has a ticket EWR-CDG and a connection on SNCF by train to Bordeaux. Since making the rez (through Orbitz, alas), he has hurt his knee and can walk only a few steps. He cannot make the connection without a wheelchair all the way. He called Continental and they told him that they could provide a wheelchair as far as baggage claim, but no further, and it is quite a way to the TGV station from baggage claim. I called the airport, but could not get through because they thought I was calling from France (and if you are calling from France, you need to use a special number which costs a lot per minute). I sent a web email and got boilerplate back, telling me to contact the airline (even though I explained all in my message).

Does anyone have any experience/advice? Does anyone know a Continental number at CDG my colleague could call?

Thanks.
