It makes sense: my entire interaction with GM in the past few years has been through rental cars and, with the exception of an occasional good experience with a loaded Impala, it's a ton of stripped cars. Emerald Aisles full of Pontiacs...I think we've all been there!

I remember about two years ago at Hertz SEA, a total mess of a station, they didn't have my name on the board and the Gold booth was full of angry customers. I went to the inside counter (surprisingly no line) and said "I'm in a hurry...I'll take anything...I'll even take a Hyundai." I'd never driven a Hyundai...I was just assuming that'd be the last thing they'd give a Five Star and I was saying I didn't mind driving one.

She said "OK, I'll give you a Hyundai then..." I ended up with an Azera with less than 1000 miles on it - very loaded car. Probably the best car they have in the "specialty full size" range. Now, if they are getting Genesis at all in their premium/luxury range, I'd love to try one.
