Opt to buy UP to a fare level that will earn you miles. In "L" for example. You would have to pay for the fare difference, plus change fee, plus whatever the current fare is as you have not flown the outbound obviously yet.
So what is considered a good rate to 'effectively' buy miles at?

i.e. if additional cost = £100 and miles gained = 4000 that makes it 2.5p per mile. Is that good?
