South Africa Airlines does fly to MRU but Hilton only has an award from the US to South Africa. British Airways also has service to South Africa but the only award BA offers is from the US directly to London with the GLOP award. Any travel beyond London requires add on points or purchasing a seperate ticket. The points and fees required to go from London to South Africa are rather substantial.

You can fly from JNB To MRU for as little as $250 RT. Air France does not participate in Hilton Honors but Delta an Air France partner does. Unfortunately Delta only code shares with South Africa to African destinations and you can not use Air France to Africa.
