Completely agree. Buy whatever gives you pleasure. Currently, I'm trying to decide between the Hublot Ice Bang or the IWC BP. Neither makes any sense, financially, but who cares?

Well, I'd also say innovative in terms of case and dial design. The modern tool watch is largely a Rolex invention and the previous generation Rolex watches had flawless proportions. Seriously, it was not possible to make it any better than the previous (up to 2008) Explorer, Submariner and Datejust lines. Result, they screwed up big time (pun intended) with the new proportions. Maxi dial? Yikes! Rolex Brand Rehaut inner ring? Super Yikes! Where is the barf smilie when you need it???
Between these two my pick would clearly be the Hublot. Very good design and very special materials. However, let me give you the embarras du choix:

This baby has a GMT function, very limited edition, very special movement and a case that is simply stunning. And I swear I am not a Panerista. I just picked that one because I saw you like the big models with a technical design and chrono or 8day movement. This one has it all plus the GMT and the limited edition.
