Was in Richmond when this occurred. There was a bit of a power surge that took blipped the restaurant/pub's order entry system. At first, the rumor was that it hit Ikea.
On the drive back home, the neighbourhood east of No 5 between Cambie and Bridgeport was pitch black and they had a number of RCMP cruisers in the area. They blocked off Bridgeport and said the Knight Street Bridge was closed (tho I think it was still open). Had to head back into Vancouver via Oak.
