Well I didn't say I was totally rural (that was back when I was going to be at my sister's who was a park ranger), but switching from LA to a town of 40,000 is kinda rural And until cordelli mentioned it I didn't know I was in a Uverse town either.

Ok, so here's what I'm ordering:

* U200 telly (200 digital channels): $64/mth w/ $19/off for first 6 mths so $45/mth at first; the fee includes one free HD dvr

* decided to splurge & go for the 6MB i-net since it was only $5/mth more than the 3MB (cost: $35 for 6MB), and

* 2 lines w/ unlimited calling & voice mail ($30/first line & $15/second line),

Because it's bundled/ordered at same time, they're waiving the install fee. Also, the promo qualifies for $200 cashback, which you get 4-6 weeks after ordering/install.

Of course I went to order & that's when my neighbor's wifi that I'm 'borrowing' pooped out/I don't think the order went through, so back on to do that.

I'll deal w/ the cell situation in a bit, although I need to evaluate that as cordelli also mentioned in the rural thread that I was paying too much for it.

Cheers.
