WRONG!

SR (Swissair) was giving free food/drinks till the day they went bankrupt. They re-incarnated as LX (Swiss) and at the beginning were also giving free fool/drinks, only later started charging for everything. But yes... you are correct they re-introduced free meals/drinks from the moment they were taken over by LH.
