I flew between them (mostly via WAW). I'm not saying flying is the most convenient way, but I do not really like trains, so I chose to fly.

Note that Sopot is quite a long way from GDN airport (and in fact a bit of distance from Gdansk city as well) though.

I loved Sopot - it had lots of pretty good restaurants. Krakow was great, and Poznan was compact but very neat and tidy. There are also pretty good eateries and there is a pretty good looking shopping centre (Stary Browar) that often has a pianist playing classical music (excellently) in a 'hall' area with cafes.
