Flying PHL to AVP, it seems a toss up on getting a CRJ or a Dash-8. On a short flight it isn't a big deal, but the Dash doesn't usually go above 10k feet, so no electronics. The nice thing is since it is smaller, you can usually get out pretty fast.

And yes, you get the 500 mile min, rather nice add-on when flying PHX-PHL-AVP. It almost makes it worth the wait and dealing with PHL.
